Another GREAT Post-Op Appt for Luca!! NO MORE medicines...

Today we had another post-op appt at CHLA with Luca's cardiologist... We first went to get another chest x-ray and then we went to see her - Dr. Jackie... no ecos or EKG's today...YAYYYYYY... those are becoming to be quite a struggle anymore... Luca simply hates them... who would like to be held down for 20-30 min without being able to move your legs or arms, right? Especially a 9 1/2 month old!!! Doesn't work too well... Up until now we had Nana Silvia doing all kinds of silly faces and distracting him during those ecos but not anymore... but actually we are lucky that we won't be needing too many of those anymore...

Anyways, the x-ray looked great today so this means: NO MORE LASIX which is the diuretic he was still taking just in case some more liquid would accumulate on his lungs... His incision is also looking very good and dry already and Dr. Jackie said that overall he is doing EXCELLENT!!!
That's all we needed to hear to have an absolutely outstanding Thanksgiving tomorrow!!! ;o)

Now we go back there for another ck-up on the 17th of December and after that probably only in 6 months...isn't that terrific??? Our blessings are really endless...

My lips look so nice and pink now... They used to be a bit pale before...
