Finally Posting Again!

Oh Hello -- Hello -- Hello ... this blog is finally back to life after a lonnnng deserved vacation... ;0)

Luca and I got back from Europe on June 2nd... he actually behaved pretty well during the 20 hrs (from door to door) that we were in transit coming back from Italy...I survived being alone with him thru airports, planes, etc etc.... after all, we've been thru a lot more challenging times than this...eheheh...It was really hard this time for us to adjust again to the 9hr time difference!

We had a GREAT time with our families... we were with my family in Barcelona and we finally met sweet Yara....soooooo cute and delicate, a complete doll...very emotional to be able to hug and personally welcome another member of our family! Luca really enjoyed being with his Vo' Silvia, Vo Celso, Tio Kiko, Tia Euri and baby Yarita...It was also great that we got to see Euri's parents Anna & Arturo that came from Madrid to visit us!! The big news that my brother had for all of us when we got there was that he got a promotion with the company that he works for (Dow Chemical) and they are transferring him to Sao Paulo this July!! Very exciting news to get a promotion these days with this world crisis... GO KIKO, you rock and roll and we are SO proud of you and your family....congratulations and good luck with everything!!! ;o) ;o) ;o)

Then we also spent some time with Gaetano's family in Torino...Luca had a great time with Nonna Pina, Madrina Gabriella, Padrino Angelo and his cousins Samuele (11) and Andrea (8)...he got so many kisses and so much love from ALL of them....

So to summarize this vacation we basically had so many good times, great company, wonderful food and loads of laughter and love... so wonderful...

Now back to California....we missed Daddy....he came back before us and stayed here for 2 weeks by himself before we came back...not easy for him...but at least he had Gringo to "keep him warm"...eheheh
